How do I start?

To start, click on the "Start the Party" button on the homepage. Have your friends click the "Join the Crowd" button and enter your party's invite code. Then, start filling out the quiz!

What is involved?

Each quiz has two parts and takes about five minutes to complete. First, the app asks each party member for basic preferences: budget, distance, cuisines, etc. Then, the app generates a list of possible restaurant options from these preferences, and each party members can vote on whether they like the option or not. At the end, the most voted-for option wins.

Do you collect any data?

We need to ask for your current location in order to generate relevant recommendations. We use the Google Maps API behind the scenes, so your current location will be included in our API requests to Google. However, we are not interested in any of your data beyond what is needed to generate quiz results. We do not ask for your name, contact information, or place of residence. If you are completing the quiz at home and uncomfortable using your home address, feel free to use a nearby landmark instead. All data collected from party members (including location) are purged from our database once the party is over 1 day old.
